Dr. Singla is a Pain and Spine Specialist practicing in Ambala (Haryana), India.
Dr. Singla received his M.D. from prestigious PGI, Chandigarh. Dr. Singla says his love for pain medicine started during his residency in PGI Chandigarh. “I thought this is absolutely the best thing in medicine,” he recalls. “To heal and help patients get rid of long standing pain; and watch them do things which they could not have imagined being in pain makes me happy and satisfied.” he says.
Dr Singla went on to pursue PDCC from reputed SGPGI, Lucknow. He learned and practiced pain and palliative care. He had the opportunity to treat a large number of patients with pain relieving procedures day in and out. He mentions “Modern medicine tree with its latest advancements has grown its branches to include treatments that can heal patients with chronic pain which was not possible before. Today, we are effectively using radiofrequency ablation, platelet rich plasma, etc to achieve results in a scar-free method.”
Dr Singla received his fellowship in advanced pain management from Mumbai and palliative care fellowship from AIIMS New Delhi.
Dr Singla is a lifelong fellow at Indian Society for Study of Pain (ISSP), No: 1796, Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists(ISA), No: V1580, Indian Association of Palliative Care, No: IAPC-2017-90002594 and also a fellow of North American Spine Society (NASS), 2018-19, No: 408013.
Dr Singla has experience of working both in the private and government sector. He has the honour of working in the largest Central Government hospital of India, Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. He further honed his skills with fellowships from reputed institutions all over the country.
He has been invited as Speaker and Faculty and has won awards in many National conferences including PGIMER, Chandigarh and AIIMS, New Delhi.
Dr Singla’s expertise is in Minimal Invasive Interventions for PIVD / Slipped Disc, Degenerated Disc Disease, Spine and Related Pain, Neuralgias and Neuropathic Pain and Joint Pain.
Dr Singla is an active researcher and has published his academic research in various national and international journals. He is also a Peer Reviewer for world-renowned medical journals : “Cochrane: PaPaS, United Kingdom”. “European Radiology” and “BMC Musculoskeletal disorders”."
